Job summary

SF Partners in Manchester is seeking an experienced Group Finance Manager to oversee end-to-end accounting across multiple entities and manage tax compliance for those entities. You will establish new cost centre postings, reconciliation processes and partner with other departments to analyse costs and variances.

The role also involves preparing monthly board and lender reports, strengthening internal controls and supporting year-end audit and statutory accounts.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with significant experience in reporting and controls in a multi-entity environment.
• Experience with finance transformation, process optimisation and system implementation.

Job description

My client is a PE backed business in Manchester. Due to growth the business is recruiting this newly created position into their vibrant and expanding finance function, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced qualified accountant who is looking for an organisation where they can make an impact and progress within the company.

As a Group Finance Manager you will be responsible for managing end to end accounting activities across multiple entities as well as tax compliance for these entities, establish new processes for cost centre postings and intercompany reconciliations, business partner with other departments to analyse costs and variances to budget, prepare monthly board and lender reports, maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies and financial governance processes, as well as supporting the Group Financial Controller with year end audit and annual statutory accounts.

This role will suit a qualified accountant with significant experience in a reporting and controls focused role within a complex, multi-entity organisation. You will also have experience with finance transformation, process optimisation and system implementation.

The salary on offer is paying up to £80,000 plus car allowance and bonus, as well as the ability to work on a hybrid basis, minimum expectation in the office is 2 days per week.
