Group Finance Manager

The Consultancy Group is seeking a technical Group Finance Manager to lead financial operations and support their growth ambitions.

This role is ideal for someone with relevant experience in accounting or analyst roles, especially in technical accounting or accountancy practice, ready to take on greater strategic responsibilities.

You will join a small but impactful finance team, report to the Group Financial Controller, and work closely with the CFO, offering excellent learning and senior-level exposure.

Your responsibilities include:

• Leading month-end accounting and financial control processes.
• Overseeing weekly and monthly cash flow and treasury reviews.
• Collaborating with Group auditors and supporting the Group FC during the annual audit.
• Developing annual and rolling forecast cycles.
• Preparing management reports and providing financial insights.
• Partnering with cross-functional teams to strengthen financial frameworks.
• Managing payroll processes and supplier payments.
• Managing accounting software systems and improving finance operations.
• Ensuring compliance with UK tax regulations and overseeing Group tax processes (European tax knowledge is a plus).

What we’re looking for:

• ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualification with a solid technical accounting background.
• Strong commercial thinking and financial insight skills.
• Problem-solving, flexibility, diplomacy, and collaboration skills.
• Excellent business partnering and communication skills across all levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
