Group Finance Manager in Media | Central London | £75- £90k

Exciting opportunity for a high caliber individual looking for a Group Finance Manager role in a leading Media & Entertainment organisation with a supportive culture.

My client is a leading media business who is looking for a Group Finance Manager to join the team on a 15 month fixed term contract. This is a fantastic role for someone who is looking to develop their career within accounting at a market leading global business.

This would be the perfect next step for a qualified accountant with 4+ years industry experience who is looking to take a step up.

You must have proven experience working in a group accounting position and be experienced with group consolidations, multicurrency accounting and working with overseas entities.

Note: You must be available to start within the next month. This is a 15 month fixed term contract

The Role

As a key member of the finance team, this role is responsible for:

Gather and consolidate group accounting data from the group entities ensuring group reporting deadlines are met
Oversee and improve intercompany processes
implementing group accounting, reporting and control policies and ensure application
Develop formal board back reporting
Key point of contact for group audit
Preparation of group statutory accounts
Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process including preparing and analysis
Support the rollout of the ERP rollout
Ensure strong internal control environment identifying weaknesses in controls
Manage and develop junior team members

You will regularly interact with senior management, meaning that stakeholder management skills and an affable personality are a must. This role requires a strong performer and somebody with the ambition and intellect to apply their own insights were possible and suggest improvements to existing processes.

Your Background

You are a qualified accountant with at least 4 years post qualified experience.

Location

Central London with hybrid working from home.
