Job summary

Norwich City Services Limited in Norwich is seeking Grounds Operatives 3 to maintain parks, open spaces and housing estates to contractual standards. The role follows a fixed schedule and uses commercial machinery to carry out turf management, hedge cutting and spraying.

The ideal candidate will have extensive grounds maintenance knowledge, a full UK driving licence (B+E), and relevant spraying qualifications; strong safety focus and ability to work outdoors in all weather; part-time flexibility

Qualifications

• Knowledge of commercial grounds maintenance practices
• Ability to perform physical outdoor work in all weather
• Full UK driving licence with B+E entitlement
• Compliance with health & safety regulations

Responsibilities

• Maintain Norwich parks, open spaces and housing estates to contractual standards.
• Conduct routine turf management, hedge cutting, and spraying operations.
• Perform pre-use equipment checks and ensure safe operation of machinery.
• Address public inquiries on-site in a professional manner.
