Mitie Group is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative in Milton Keynes to deliver high service levels and keep outdoor spaces in top condition. This full-time role requires 40 hours per week with a £13.45 per hour rate.

You will be responsible for grass and hedge cutting, border maintenance, leaf clearing, spraying, litter picking, and winter services such as gritting and snow clearance, while following safety procedures and reporting hazards.

Formación

• Outdoor work experience and passion for working in outdoor environments.
• Valid UK driving licence is required for roles involving vehicle use.
• Spraying licenses (PAI/PA6) are a plus; training available if needed.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out grass and hedge cutting, border maintenance, leaf clearing, spraying, and litter picking.
• Operate hand tools and powered horticultural machinery safely and effectively.
• Deliver winter services including gritting, snow clearance, and Christmas tree installation.
• Report site hazards and relevant information to management.
• Follow health and safety procedures and undertake additional training as required.

We're looking for a Grounds Maintenance Operative who will deliver excellent service standards, while meeting SLA agreements and maintaining outdoor spaces to the highest quality.

Rate of pay: £13.45 per hour
