Job summary

Mitie Group in Kinloss is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative to deliver high service standards, maintain outdoor spaces and meet SLA requirements. The role is permanent, full-time (40 hours per week) with pay £13.45 per hour.

You will carry out grass and hedge cutting, border maintenance, leaf clearing, spraying and litter picking, use hand tools and machinery safely, and support winter services such as gritting and snow clearance. A Full UK driving licence and BPSS vetting are required.

• Location: Kinloss, Scotland.

Responsibilities

• Carry out grass and hedge cutting, border maintenance, leaf clearing, spraying, and litter picking.
• Operate hand tools and powered horticultural machinery safely and effectively.
• Deliver winter services including gritting, snow clearance, and Christmas tree installation.
• Report site hazards and relevant information to management.
• Follow health and safety procedures and undertake additional training as required.

What we're looking for:

• Passion for working outdoors in agile and flexible environments
• Good understanding of smartphone technology
• Grounds maintenance experience is desirable but not essential
• PAI & PA6 spraying license is a plus
• Full UK driving license preferred for roles involving company vehicles
