Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to deliver excellent service standards, meet SLAs, and maintain outdoor spaces to the highest quality. This permanent, full-time role offers a 40-hour week with a rate of pay of £13.10 per hour.

Location is in the Merseyside area of England. A Full UK Driving Licence is required, and spraying licences (PAI & PA6) are a plus. Duties include grass cutting, hedge maintenance, winter services, and safety reporting.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Grounds maintenance experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out grass and hedge cutting, border maintenance, leaf clearing, spraying, and litter picking.
• Operate hand tools and powered horticultural machinery safely and effectively.
• Deliver winter services including gritting, snow clearance, and Christmas tree installation.
• Report site hazards and relevant information to management.
• Follow health and safety procedures and undertake additional training as required.

Requirement: Full Clean UK Driving Licence
