Mitie is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative to deliver high-quality outdoor upkeep and frontline service in Stoke-on-Trent. The role emphasizes meeting SLA standards while maintaining outdoor spaces to a professional level.

The position offers a permanent, full-time role with 40 hours per week and an hourly rate of £13.45. A full UK driving license is required, with potential licensing advantages like PAI/PA6.

Qualifications

• PAI & PA6 spraying license is a plus.
• Full UK driving license preferred for roles involving company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Carry out grass and hedge cutting, border maintenance, leaf clearing, spraying, and litter picking.
• Operate hand tools and powered horticultural machinery safely and effectively.
• Deliver winter services including gritting, snow clearance, and Christmas tree installation.
• Report site hazards and relevant information to management.
• Follow health and safety procedures and undertake additional training as required.

We're looking for a Grounds Maintenance Operative who will deliver excellent service standards, while meeting SLA agreements and maintaining outdoor spaces to the highest quality.

Hourly Rate of Pay: £ 13.45

Position Type: Permanent

Total Weekly Contractual Hours: 40 hours

Role Responsibilities
