Sainsbury’s is seeking Customer Delivery Drivers to bring orders to customers’ doors with energy, warmth and care. You will drive a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van, perform vehicle checks, and ensure orders reach customers on time and in great condition.

As part of our frontline team, you’ll communicate clearly with customers, handle delays, and may assist in-store when not delivering. A focus on safety and customer experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 and have held a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points
• Online driving risk assessment as part of your interview and a driving assessment when you join us
• Must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK
• Sainsbury’s has in-cab AI cameras to monitor driving behaviour and support safe driving

Responsabilités

• Being the face of Sainsbury’s at every doorstep you deliver to, making customers feel valued
• Drive a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van to deliver groceries on time and in good condition
• Complete checks to ensure the van is roadworthy, clean and organized
• Follow planned routes and drive safely in various locations and conditions
• Move containers up to 15kg and deliver to properties with steps or longer walks
• Communicate with customers and keep them informed of delays or changes
• When not delivering, assist across the store as needed
