Sainsbury’s is hiring a Customer Delivery Driver to bring online grocery orders to customers’ doors with warmth and efficiency. You’ll drive a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van, perform vehicle checks, and ensure orders arrive on time in excellent condition.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 and hold a full UK driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Online driving risk assessment as part of your interview; driving assessment on joining us.
• Sainsbury’s has in-cab AI cameras to monitor driving and support safety.

Responsabilités

• Be the face of Sainsbury’s at every doorstep you deliver to with a friendly and helpful service.
• Drive a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van to deliver groceries on time and in great condition.
• Carry out pre-delivery checks to ensure van is roadworthy, clean and organised and orders are secure.
• Follow planned routes and drive safely in varying locations and conditions.
• Move containers weighing up to 15kg and deliver to properties with steps or longer walks from the van.
• Communicate with customers to keep them informed of delays or changes to orders; assist store as needed.
