Job summary

Sainsbury's is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to bring groceries directly to customers’ doorsteps with energy and care. You’ll drive a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van, ensure vehicle readiness, and keep customers informed of progress and delays.

Qualifications

• Must have held a full UK driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points.
• Must be over 18 years old and have Right to Work in the UK.
• Ability to lift up to 15kg and deliver to customer properties.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, physical environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries to customers in a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van.
• Perform routine checks to ensure the van is roadworthy and clean.
• Follow planned routes and drive safely in varying conditions.
• Move shopping containers up to 15kg and deliver to various properties.
• Communicate delays or changes to customers and address queries.
• Assist across the store when not delivering.
