Sainsbury’s Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver who will bring groceries to customers’ doorsteps with energy, warmth and care.

You will drive a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van, perform safety checks, follow planned routes and help with loading up to 15kg. You’ll also communicate clearly with customers and support store teams while upholding our inclusive, customer‑first values.

Qualifications

• Over 18 years old with a full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.
• Max 6 points on licence and right to work in the UK.
• Ability to drive a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van safely and responsibly.
• Willingness to work across different store locations and times.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of Sainsbury’s at customers’ doorsteps with friendly, helpful service.
• Drive a 3.5t refrigerated van to deliver groceries on time and in good condition.
• Carry out van checks to ensure roadworthiness, cleanliness and ordering of goods.
• Follow planned routes and adapt to traffic, weather and road conditions.
• Move and load containers up to 15kg; deliver to properties with possible stairs or lifts.
• Communicate clearly with customers, inform about delays and handle queries.
• Adhere to safety policies, learn route and delivery technology, and support store teams.
