Job summary

Supernova Mayfair in London is seeking a Grill Chef to join a fast-paced, open-kitchen team. You’ll grill our signature burgers and sides with speed and consistency, while upholding high standards of quality and cleanliness.

You’ll work closely with management to maintain energy, culture, and fast delivery during service, with opportunities for progression within a growing hospitality group.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of grill or line cook experience in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Passion for delivering great food fast with consistency.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene.
• Proactive, hands-on, and a strong team player.
• Able to work evenings, weekends, and busy trading periods.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare burgers, sides, and other menu items to Supernova standards during service.
• Maintain high levels of speed, consistency, and presentation throughout shifts.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness procedures.
• Perform under pressure during busy periods, ensuring orders are accurate and timely.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams for smooth service.
• Support stock control, portioning, and waste reduction.
• Participate in food prep, cleaning, and opening/closing duties.
• Foster a fun, supportive, and energetic kitchen culture.
