Job summary

MCARTHURGLEN is seeking a Full Time Grill Chef to join a busy Greek grill operation. You will be responsible for grilling, frying and oven work, ensuring orders are prepared accurately and to a high standard.

The role requires passion for good food, fast execution, and strict hygiene practices. You will work as part of a small team or as the sole grill chef on shift, with accountability for the entire section and daily stock prep.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a similar environment with a focus on safety and hygiene.
• Hold the necessary food hygiene certificates.
• Experience working with a chargrill and fryers.
• Able to work in a high‑pressure, fast‑paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare food to order in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Manning a flat grill, chargrill, deep fat fryer and oven.
• Complete food prep for busy service.
• Follow standard recipes and portion control.
• Liaise with other grill chefs for smooth handovers.
• Keep the work area clean and organised during and after shifts.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety.
