Job summary

The Real Greek Stratford is seeking a skilled chef to support kitchen operations and lead by example on the grill. Ideal candidates have grill or chef de parti experience and can work calmly under pressure while maintaining high standards of hygiene and food quality.

You will collaborate with the Head/Sous Chef and Restaurant Manager, help manage daily orders, and ensure stock accuracy and efficient prep in a dynamic dining environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in grill, prep, or chef de partie roles is preferred.
• Kitchen experience is essential.
• Ability to remain calm and focused in busy shifts.
• Clear and prompt communication with team and management.
• Flexibility with tasks and working hours.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day kitchen management and follow Head Chef instructions to maintain standards.
• Support Head/Sous Chef and Restaurant Manager through clear communication.
• Take charge of kitchen operations and daily orders when Senior Chef is absent.
• Help manage stock levels and minimize wastage.
• Report equipment issues to Head or Sous Chef.
