Isothermal Community College is seeking a NC Boost Navigator (Grant Funded) to provide proactive academic advising and coaching for Boost students. You will monitor progress, coordinate interventions, and support recruitment and onboarding while maintaining records.

The role requires a minimum 3 years in higher education advising, a Bachelor’s degree, and a willingness to work evenings/weekends as needed. This grant-funded position runs through 2031 and offers a commensurate salary with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Education, Counseling, social sciences, or related field.
• Minimum of three years in academic advising, student services, or related higher education roles.
• Master’s degree in counseling or related discipline preferred.

Responsabilités

• Deliver proactive academic advising and intrusive coaching for Boost students.
• Monitor academic performance using institutional data systems and identify at-risk students.
• Conduct outreach via meetings, calls, and email to promote engagement and progress.
