Job summary

Isothermal Community College invites applications for a College Navigator who will guide students through their educational journey and ensure a high-quality front-door experience, connecting them to institutional resources. The role collaborates with faculty and staff to support enrollment, readiness, progress, and success.

The Navigator will mentor students, assist with admission, advising, and degree planning, and provide timely information to help students make informed decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work with students and staff across departments.
• Experience with advising or educational planning is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend trainings to stay knowledgeable of ICC resources, programs, and requirements.
• Assist students with admission, career advising, educational planning, and course selection.
• Provide e-advising and guidance on degree and transfer planning.
• Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student success initiatives.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.
• Interpret and explain college policies and participate in orientations.
