Job summary

North Hertfordshire College is seeking a Progress and Inclusion Lead to drive progress, wellbeing and employability across Stevenage, Hitchin and TCC Campuses. You will lead tutorials, monitor data, and coordinate targeted support to boost student outcomes.

The role focuses on building strong relationships with students, families and staff, enabling learners to overcome barriers and progress into further study, apprenticeships and employment. This is a permanent, full-time position.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching and mentoring learners.
• Experience supporting learners to achieve positive outcomes.
• Commitment to inclusion and student wellbeing.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver high-quality tutorials focused on progress, wellbeing and employability.
• Monitor attendance, engagement and achievement data to identify students who need additional support.
• Coordinate interventions and support services to improve outcomes.
• Build positive relationships with students, parents/carers and colleagues.
• Support learners to overcome academic, personal, social and emotional barriers.
• Promote progression into further study, apprenticeships and employment.
