Job summary

Mott MacDonald is offering a graduate role within the Water team across multiple UK locations, including Cambridge. You will develop technical and project management skills, working on water frameworks with senior modellers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver resilient water networks.

The role emphasizes data analysis, reports, client engagement, and progression through a three-year early careers programme with mentoring and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Less than 12 months’ relevant experience (excluding placements).
• Masters degree obtained no earlier than 2025 or expected in relevant disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Support development and delivery of water, wastewater, and drainage projects to improve network performance.
• Analyze data and technical information to identify challenges and inform decisions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and improve water infrastructure.
• Contribute to projects addressing flooding, environmental protection, and sustainable water management.
• Develop technical knowledge using industry tools, GIS, and coding; produce reports and present findings.
• Engage with clients and project stakeholders to communicate results.
