Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking a Graduate Wastewater Network Modeller to join the Water Utilities Division. You’ll work on designing resilient wastewater networks and major drainage projects while supported by senior modellers across the UK team.

The role offers a path to grow technical and project management skills through diverse projects, with exposure to national and international water frameworks and a structured graduate development programme.

Qualifications

• Less than 12 months’ relevant experience (excluding placements).
• Degree obtained no earlier than 2025 or expected to achieve one of the listed disciplines.
• Demonstrated interest in water infrastructure and environmental engineering.

Responsibilities

• Build and calibrate 1D and 2D hydraulic models.
• Assess and influence CSO activity and operation to meet sector targets.
• Evaluate foul water flooding and wastewater network resilience.
• Develop mitigation solutions and present options to clients.
• Work with industry-standard modelling software, GIS, and coding tools.
• Produce high-quality reports and visualisations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the business.
