Job summary

Mott MacDonald is offering a graduate Hydraulic Engineer position to support water and wastewater projects across the UK and internationally. You will work with senior modellers on 1D/2D networks, calibration, verification, and resilience planning, alongside GIS and coding tools.

A mentor will guide your early career through a three-year Accelerating your Future programme. You will join our UK-wide modelling team, contributing to climate adaptation challenges, population growth and aging

Qualifications

Less than 12 months relevant experience (excluding placements)
Masters degree as specified in opportunities list

Responsibilities

Support development and delivery of water, wastewater and drainage projects to improve network performance and resilience.
Analyse data and technical information to identify challenges and inform decisions.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and improve water infrastructure.
Contribute to projects addressing flooding, environment, river and coastal water quality, and sustainable water management.
Develop technical knowledge with industry tools, digital technologies and engineering approaches used in water sector.
Produce technical reports, present findings and engage with clients and stakeholders.
