Willmott Dixon invites graduates to join our 2–3 year Graduate Trainee Programme in Quantity Surveying. Based from our Bristol area office, you will work on live projects across Bristol, Somerset and Gloucestershire, gaining hands-on experience and pursuing a relevant qualification funded by the company.

You’ll rotate through site management, quantity surveying, design and preconstruction, with competitive salary, annual increases, and a clear progression path toward management roles.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification by September 2027 in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management, Mathematics, Economics or a finance-related subject.
• Exposure to construction work experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing project costs on site, including preparing tender and contract documents.
• Weigh up commercial risks, procure supply chain and manage payments for completed work.
• Support delivery of live projects and participate in structured rotations across site management, QS, design and preconstruction.

Graduate Trainee Programme - Quantity Surveyor

Based from our office Bristol, you'll gain valuable hands-on experience working on exciting construction projects across Bristol, Somerset, and Gloucestershire helping to shape the communities of tomorrow.

Quantity Surveying: Your role is about managing the costs of a project on site. This will include preparing tender and contract documents, weighing up commercial risks, procuring the best supply chain and managing payments for completed work.

Our programme is 2 to 3 years in duration (depending upon your level of academic achievement) and will give you the chance to earn, learn and gain real experience alongside a part-time study for a relevant qualification that is paid for by Willmott Dixon.
