Job summary

Leonardo S.p.A. is offering an 18-month Graduate Programme in the UK, based in Basildon. You will join an engineering team, receive on-the-job training and mentorship, and work toward Chartered Engineer status.

The program includes a starting salary of £34,000 per annum, a £1,000 welcome bonus, and a £1,000 exit bonus upon completion, with a potential Temporary Accommodation Allowance (TAA). On joining, expect three days on-site per week to maximise learning and integration with your team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:2 Bachelor or Integrated Master’s degree in a relevant engineering/technical field.
• Coding/programming experience or coursework.
• Relevant project work or placements in industry.
• Ability to solve problems as part of a team and apply science/tech knowledge to real-world problems.

Responsibilities

• Work within a graduate engineering team to meet project timelines.
• Contribute as a team member on day-to-day engineering activities with guidance.
• Learn from more experienced colleagues and seek support when needed.
• Contribute to engineering decisions and share best practices locally.
• Explore new experiences and opportunities to learn within the engineering environment.
• Develop professional skills toward Chartered Engineer status over several years.
