Job summary

Leonardo UK Ltd in Basildon is seeking graduates for a Mechanical Engineering role within its 18-month Graduate Programme. You will contribute to the design and development of electro-optic and information systems while gaining exposure to end-to-end engineering processes on a hybrid basis.

The programme starts with a £34,000 salary plus a £1,000 welcome bonus and a £1,000 exit bonus on completion, with potential temporary accommodation allowance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:2 Bachelors or Integrated Master’s in Mechanical Engineering or related.
• Solid problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to work on-site three days a week.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of electro-optic, communications and information systems products.
• Be introduced to state-of-the-art methods, technology and tools across the engineering lifecycle.
• This role mixes on-site and remote working; attendance at the Essex facility when required.
