Job summary

Leonardo is offering an 18-month Graduate Programme in the UK, with a starting salary of £34,000 per year plus a £1,000 welcome bonus. The programme includes a potential £1,000 exit bonus and may provide a Temporary Accommodation Allowance (TAA) under certain conditions.

Candidates are expected to spend at least three days per week on site to integrate with teams. As a Graduate Test Systems Engineer, you will gain experience across the full design lifecycle and contribute to test systems for RF,

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:2 Bachelor’s/Integrated Master’s degree or higher (MSc/PhD).
• Disciplines include Electronics & Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Systems Engineering, Engineering Design, Product Design Engineering, Communications Engineering, Engineering Physics, Applied Physics & Engineering Science.

Responsibilities

• Gain experience across the full design lifecycle from requirements analysis to certification.
• Contribute to the design of test systems covering RF, microwave, antenna, high-speed digital, laser and optical engineering.
• Engage with engineers across Electronics, Systems, Software, Mechanical and Supportability disciplines to understand complex products.
• Operate within the Graduate Development Framework to learn through on-the-job training and formal courses.
