Proactive Personnel Ltd is seeking a dynamic Technical Sales Estimator to bridge our technical solutions with customer needs, driving sales growth through tailored demonstrations and consultative support.

The role combines technical expertise with sales acumen in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong presentation skills, IT infrastructure knowledge, and proficiency in Word/Excel. Permanent, £28-£32k, 8:30am-5pm (Friday 1:30pm finish).

Qualifications

• Proven presentation skills with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for reports and data management.
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure and networking basics.
• Excellent organization and time management to handle multiple clients.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Prior experience in technical sales or engineering is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients, articulating technical features.
• Collaborate with customers to understand their technical challenges and propose suitable solutions.
• Provide detailed technical support across the sales process, including proposals.
• Maintain strong client relationships with ongoing support and prompt inquiries response.
• Prepare comprehensive reports documenting interactions, activities, and assessments using Word and Excel.
• Coordinate with engineering and product teams to relay feedback and tailor solutions.
• Stay informed on industry trends and cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
