Job summary

Prodrive Recruitment Consultants Ltd is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Estimator for a client in Moreton-in-Marsh. You will meet customers in-showroom and on-site, discuss requirements and specs, and learn in-house products to stay current with industry standards.

Responsibilities include preparing estimates, comparing supplier quotations, and using estimating software. It’s a full-time role with a 8:00–17:00 schedule Mon-Thu and 8:00–16:00 Friday, salary around 30k plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical sales, sales engineering, or sales coordination.
• Experience within engineering, manufacturing, construction or technical enviro.
• Proficiency in CAD software or willingness and ability to learn.
• Ability to interpret design briefs and technical specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Flexible team player.

Technical Sales Estimator

Prodrive Recruitment Consultants Ltd are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Estimator to join our well-established clients based in Moreton-in-Marsh. Due to continued growth, our clients are looking to expand their busy sales team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, technical knowledge, and excellent organisational and numeracy skills.

Main Responsibilities

• Meeting customers face to face in the showroom and on site to discuss individual requirements and technical specifications
• Attending occasional client visits
• Learning the different products that are manufactured in-house and maintain up-to-date knowledge of product offerings and industry standards
• Reading and understanding client drawings and specifications
• Assisting with the preparation of competitive estimates and quotations
• Obtaining and comparing quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
• Using computerised estimating software to prepare quotations
• Chasing up sent quotations and resolving any details
• Maintaining accurate estimating records and documentation
• Adhoc tasks as required from time to time

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in technical sales, sales engineering, sales support or sales coordination
• Experience within an engineering, manufacturing, construction or technical environment
• Proficiency in CAD software, or a strong willingness and ability to learn.

Salary: 30k per annum + company benefits

Hours of work: 8.00 am - 5.00 pm Monday to Thursday, 8.00 am - 4.00 pm Friday
