Job summary

Aspire People Limited in the United Kingdom is recruiting Graduate Teaching Assistants to support schools in Bury and the surrounding areas, including mainstream and SEN provisions. This role offers hands-on experience working with children and young people with diverse needs, to develop classroom skills and lay a strong foundation for careers in education, psychology and related fields.

You will work with experienced teachers and support staff to assist with 1:1 and small group interventions,

Qualifications

• A degree in a relevant subject area.
• Interest in working with children or young people.
• A proactive and reliable approach.
• Willingness to complete safeguarding and pre employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in lessons, adapting activities to suit individual needs.
• Provide 1:1 or small group intervention where required.
• Assist with behaviour support and emotional regulation.
• Use communication strategies and structured approaches.
• Support pupils across mainstream and specialist settings.
• Work as part of a team with teachers and support staff.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
