Job summary

Babcock International Group offers a Systems Engineering Graduate Programme in the UK. You will apply systems thinking to projects across submarines, naval ships and nuclear-related programmes, delivering safe and sustainable solutions.

Over two years, you’ll rotate through placements every 3–6 months, gaining cross-disciplinary experience and building stakeholder relationships while progressing toward Chartered Engineer status. Based at Bristol, on-site work is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in a STEM discipline is required or expected (BEng/MEng/BSc/MSc).
• Must be able to achieve BPSS and Security Check (SC) clearance.
• Post holder must be a sole UK national for eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Apply systems engineering principles to ensure safe, effective and sustainable solutions across complex projects.
• Define requirements and manage interfaces across multidisciplinary teams.
• Support lifecycle stages from concept to production, commissioning, in-service support and decommissioning.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand system needs and mitigate risks.
