Job summary

Leonardo is offering a graduate Programme in the UK Basildon area where you will join an 18-month engineering and technology development track. You will work on real engineering problems across Sea, Land, Air and space domains, with guidance from subject matter experts and opportunities to contribute to R&D concepts and future technologies.

You will start with a salary of £34,000 per year, plus a £1,000 welcome bonus and a potential £1,000 exit bonus on completion.

Qualifications

• Minimum lower Second class Bachelor's/Integrated Master’s degree in engineering, maths, physics or other STEM.
• Higher degree such as MSc or PhD preferred.
• Experience in coding, project work and teamwork; applying science to real-world problems.

Responsibilities

• Work on real engineering problems across Sea, Land, Air and space domains; participate in multiple projects.
• Receive day-to-day guidance and on‑the‑job training from a dynamic team.
• Gain targeted training to develop engineering skills and domain knowledge for technical excellence.
