Job summary

Leonardo in Edinburgh is offering an 18-month Engineering Graduate Programme for Software Engineers. You will work on real-time projects alongside leading scientists and engineers, contributing to all aspects of product development from concept to system integration.

A starting salary of £34,000 per year plus a £1,000 welcome bonus and a £1,000 exit bonus may be available, with occasional on-site requirements and potential accommodation support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:2 Bachelors/Integrated Master’s degree or higher in a related field such as Software Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or Electronic Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Create high quality, robust code and document work products; maintain configuration management and provide progress reports.
• Develop design techniques for aerospace applications and understanding of key processes and technologies.
• Collaborate with Software, Systems, Firmware and Electronics Engineers to solve integration challenges on a complex system.
