Job summary

Galliford Try is offering a Graduate Site Engineer position in the UK as part of its two-year development programme. You will work under Engineers to support setting out and on-site controls while gaining professional qualifications and mentorship.

The role requires a Construction Management or Civil Engineering degree and a full UK driving licence by 2027, with eligibility to work in the UK. A company car, generous holiday and private medical insurance are among the benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering completed before Sep 2027.
• Full UK driving licence by Sep 2027.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK without restriction.

Responsibilities

• Assist site engineers with setting out and engineering control on site.
• Participate in creating a knowingly safe working environment.
• Assist in site engineering control and setting out activities and provide information to operatives and subcontractors.
• Complete diary sheets along with photographic evidence as required.
• Assist in material reconciliations.
• Ensure surveying equipment is calibrated.
• Assist in carrying out as-built surveys and producing 2D & 3D site sketches.
• Assist in maintaining quality records and ensure works align with ITPs and as-built records.
