Job summary

Galliford Try’s UK Graduate Development Programme offers a two-year, hands-on pathway for graduates to develop technical skills, gain professional qualifications, and build a network within the civil engineering sector. You start in a full-time graduate role and work under Engineers/Senior Engineers across sites, with travel opportunities and potential early start dates to fit business needs.

The programme covers seven modules to develop interpersonal and leadership capabilities, with funding

Qualifications

• Graduates with a Civil Engineering degree or similar by Sept 2027.
• Willingness to obtain UK driving licence by Sept 2027.

Responsibilities

• Assist Site Engineers with setting out and engineering control on site.
• Contribute to creating a safe working environment.
• Complete diary sheets and provide photographic evidence as required.
• Assist in material reconciliations and ensure calibration of surveying equipment.
• Assist in as-built surveys and maintaining 2D/3D site sketches and quality records.
