Accord Healthcare Harrow, West London invites Graduate Scientists to join Analytical Development, Upstream PD and Downstream PD teams. This full-time, permanent role offers hands-on lab work, experimentation and data analysis across development from early stages through scale-up.

The role involves designing and performing experiments, handling buffers and reagents, operating equipment, and ensuring GDP-compliant data recording.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in biotechnology, biochemistry, biology, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences or related field.
• Academic or internship lab experience in life sciences or bioprocessing preferred.
• Strong interest in biopharmaceutical process development and analytical sciences.
• Familiarity with aseptic handling, solution preparation and scientific instrumentation an advantage.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to data quality.
• Enthusiastic, collaborative and keen to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist design and execution of laboratory experiments for analytical development and characterization.
• Prepare and handle buffers, media, samples and reagents under supervision.
• Operate lab equipment relevant to analytical, upstream and downstream workflows.
• Collect, record and analyse experimental data following GDP.
• Participate in lab organisation, equipment maintenance, calibration and inventory management.
• Adhere to EHS and quality guidelines during laboratory work.
• Communicate results within the team and contribute to discussions and problem-solving.
• Support knowledge transfer and documentation for method transfer activities.
