Job summary

Accord Healthcare Europe seeks a Group Leader for Analytical Development in Harrow to lead a talented team through method development, characterization and regulatory submissions. You will drive technical strategy for internal projects and CRO collaborations, ensuring Right First Time and robust analytics.

The role requires a PhD or Master in relevant sciences with strong biosimilar development experience, DOEs, and advanced analytical techniques.

Qualifications

PhD or Master in biological sciences or analytical chemistry with extensive relevant work experience.
Working experience in Biosimilar development is essential.
Scientific background in biological product characterization and impurity identification.
Understanding of biological product characteristics (e.g., mAbs, fusion proteins).
Experience with DOE tools and advanced data analysis packages.
Excellent understanding of analytical testing techniques (HPLC, CESDS, cIEF, LCMS, CD).

Responsibilities

Lead and support analytical development group for method development, product characterization, qualification, transfer, and related activities.
Set technical strategy and ensure execution for internal projects and CRO collaborations; build Right First Time culture.
Provide technical oversight during troubleshooting and instrumental challenges.
Ensure experimental plans and reports are scientifically sound and regulatory-aligned.
Mentor and develop a high-performing analytical team.
Interface with Regulatory Affairs for responses and submissions.
