Qualifications

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in biotechnology, biochemistry, biology, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences or related field.
  • Academic or internship lab experience in life sciences or bioprocessing preferred.
  • Strong interest in biopharmaceutical process development and analytical sciences.
  • Familiarity with aseptic handling, solution preparation and scientific instrumentation an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to data quality.
  • Enthusiastic, collaborative and keen to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist design and execution of laboratory experiments for analytical development and characterization.
  • Prepare and handle buffers, media, samples and reagents under supervision.
  • Operate lab equipment relevant to analytical, upstream and downstream workflows.
  • Collect, record and analyse experimental data following GDP.
  • Participate in lab organisation, equipment maintenance, calibration and inventory management.
  • Adhere to EHS and quality guidelines during laboratory work.
  • Communicate results within the team and contribute to discussions and problem-solving.
  • Support knowledge transfer and documentation for method transfer activities.

The Role:

Graduate Scientists to join our Analytical Development, Upstream PD and Downstream PD groups. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for science or engineering graduates who are eager to contribute to the development of biopharmaceutical products through hands-on lab work, experimentation, and data analysis. You will gain cross-functional exposure across development functions, supporting both process and analytical activities from early development through scale-up and technology transfer.

  • Assist in the design and execution of laboratory experiments to support analytical development, characterization, and/or analytical evaluation of biopharmaceutical products.
  • Perform preparation and handling of materials such as buffers, media, samples, and reagents under supervision.
  • Operate laboratory equipment and systems relevant to analytical, upstream & downstream workflows.
  • Collect, record, and analyse experimental data accurately following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Participate in lab organization, equipment maintenance, calibration, and inventory management.
  • Adhere to all environmental health & safety (EHS) and quality compliance guidelines during laboratory work.
  • Communicate results clearly within the team and contribute to group discussions and problem-solving activities.
  • Support knowledge transfer and documentation required for method transfer activities.
The Person:
  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field.
