Job summary

MedPharm in Guildford is seeking an Analytical Scientist to perform analytical testing of pharmaceutical compounds and products. You will work with HPLC and GC, supporting early and late-stage development under guidance from senior scientists.

You will develop and optimise methods, document results with GMP/GLP mindset, and collaborate with R&D, QC, and project teams to ensure data quality and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related discipline.
• Experience with HPLC/GC and analytical equipment.
• Familiarity with GLP, data integrity and SOP adherence.
• 2+ years in pharmaceutical analytics industry.
• Knowledge of ICH guidelines and SOP execution.

Responsibilities

• Execute analytical testing of drug substances and products.
• Develop and validate HPLC methods per SOPs.
• Document experiments with accuracy and traceability.
• Maintain GLP/QA data integrity using Empower.
• Collaborate with R&D, QC and project teams.
