The Role:
  • Full‑time, long‑term Graduate Science Teaching Assistant Role
  • Sociable working hours between 8:15 – 15:30, Mon/Fri
  • Support learners in Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics across all key stages
  • Use your degree in a meaningful way
  • Assist with practical demonstrations and laboratory work
  • Earn up to £560 per week
  • Full training and mentoring from experienced Science teachers provided

If you are an enthusiastic and knowledgeable recent Science Graduate, with a keen interest in secondary education, this role is for you. Relevant teaching experience is beneficial but not required for this position and full training will be provided to ensure your success as a Graduate Science Teaching Assistant.

As a Graduate Science Teaching Assistant, you will assist Science teachers in delivering engaging and practical lessons. You may work 1:1 or in small‑groups with learners who need additional support, particularly those preparing for GCSE and A‑Level Science examinations. You’ll help develop scientific understanding, experimental skills, and analytical thinking whilst preparing and supporting practical investigations. Training and mentoring will be provided to ensure that you develop your teaching practice whilst utilising your academic background, subject expertise and passion for Science.
