Job summary

Veritas Education in West London is seeking a passionate Science or Maths Graduate to join our partner secondary school as a Science & Maths Teaching Assistant. You will provide one-on-one and small-group support, helping students understand concepts and improve communication.

This full-time term-time role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm, with daily rates of £100–£110. A bachelor's degree in Science or Maths is required, and DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science/Maths or related field.
• Experience with young people in educational setting is advantageous but not essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Enthusiasm for working with young people and supporting development.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small-group support to students, focusing on improving subject understanding and communication skills.
• Collaborate with Science and Maths teachers to deliver engaging lessons.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting student engagement.
• Support extracurricular activities related to English such as literary clubs or drama productions.
