Job summary

Timeplan is seeking Graduate Secondary Teaching Assistants for a West London secondary school (Good Ofsted). The role is full-time from September, supporting students on a 1:1 basis and assisting with class work up to GCSE level.

Ideal candidates have degree-level education, an Enhanced DBS, and prior experience with children in one-to-one or small group settings, preferably with SEN.

Qualifications

• Degree level education
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Online Update Service (must already have)
• Experience with one-to-one, small group work and/or whole class support
• Enthusiastic, friendly, patient and determined approach
• Experience or knowledge within special educational needs

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to students, including those with mild autism or Asperger's, assisting with classwork up to GCSE level
• Assist with small group and classroom tasks as required
