The Company

Data. It exists everywhere within businesses today. However, the big problem is that there is so much of it its very difficult to manage, organise and really get the information that you need. Thats why this company offers a cloud-based software that helps companies do a job in just 2 minutes, that would otherwise take 3-4 hours. Theyre already considered a market leader in the UK and their software is used across Europe, USA and further beyond. Rolls Royce & Siemens are just 2 examples of businesses that currently using their technology and theyre looking for people like you to help add more new logos to the list!

About The Role

As a founding SDR (Sales Development Representative) youll be responsible for generating new opportunities for the sales team. Your main responsibilities will be to arrange and book in demonstrations of the product.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospecting potential new customers this will include cold calling (preferred activity!) but will be supplemented with strategic social media & Email work.
  • Working towards targets - you'll be working towards regular activity targets (call time, calls made etc).
  • Conversations with decision makers youll be looking to have conversations with IT Managers, & Heads of IT to understand what pains and challenges theyre facing and how your solution could help them.

About You

The business is very open when it comes to the background of person theyre looking to hire, there are some non-negotiable behaviours that all candidates need to be able to demonstrate:

  • Coachable youll need to be someone thats always willing to improve and get better every single day.
  • Resilient sales isnt easy, and there will be a lot of rejection (a lot!). Youll ideally have worked in a role where youve had to deal with and overcome setbacks.
  • Confidence youll be (reasonably) comfortable picking up the phone to people that youve never spoken to before
  • High Achiever previous examples of where youve performed well above the average (this could be in work, extra-curricular, sport etc)
