Job summary

AECOM is recruiting graduates for its Rail Graduate Development Programme in the UK. You will work within multidisciplinary rail teams across the project lifecycle, gaining exposure to planning, governance and client communications. The role supports development through mentorship, training modules and live client projects.

Successful candidates will join a global team and start on a structured development path with hybrid work options and on-the-job technical growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with a 2:1 or equivalent.
• Masters qualification would be advantageous.
• Interest in infrastructure project delivery and rail transportation.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, delivery and monitoring of railway infrastructure projects.
• Support programme management, cost control and risk activities.
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement and client communications.
• Support project reporting, governance and performance tracking.
• Contribute to project plans, schedules and resource forecasts.
• Assist multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects safely and effectively.
• Assist with contract administration and project documentation.
• Develop understanding of project controls and rail delivery processes.
