Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc is hiring a Graduate Quantity Surveyor for our North West regional Civils team, based in Warrington. You’ll apply academic knowledge to real projects, developing commercial, analytical and professional skills from day one.

We offer a structured Early Careers programme with mentoring, a permanent contract from day one, and progression through bi-annual reviews, travel across sites, and support towards industry accreditation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a relevant field with a minimum 2:2 honours

Responsibilities

• Assist in the commercial management of major infrastructure and construction projects.
• Produce cost reports, forecasts, valuations, budgets and financial performance information.
• Measure completed works and compare costs against budgets and contractual requirements.
• Support subcontract procurement, including tendering and commercial evaluations.
