In this role, you’ll join one of ourUKCS - Regional Civils teams as a Graduate Quantity Surveyor, based in Doncaster, supporting on projects around South Yorkshire.


What you'll be doing

As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor, you'll play an important role in the commercial management of major infrastructure and construction projects. Working alongside experienced commercial professionals and project teams, you'll apply your academic knowledge in a practical environment while developing the commercial, analytical, and professional skills needed for a successful career in quantity surveying.


You'll gain experience across cost management, procurement, contract administration, forecasting, risk management, and project controls while contributing to the successful delivery of projects. Through a structured graduate development programme, you'll develop a strong understanding of commercial management and build the experience needed to work towards professional accreditation.


You’ll support with:

  • Supporting the management and control of project costs throughout the project lifecycle
  • Preparing cost reports, forecasts, valuations, budgets, and financial performance information
  • Measuring completed works and assessing costs against project budgets, forecasts, and contractual requirements
  • Supporting subcontract procurement activities, including tendering, supplier engagement, subcontract preparation, and commercial evaluations
Who we're looking for

We value your potential over past experience and are looking for graduates with a degree in Quantity Surveying or a relevant field and a genuine interest in our industry. To be eligible, you’ll need to achieve a minimum 2:2 honours degree by the time you start.
