Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc invites applications for a Graduate Apprentice Quantity Surveyor as part of the 2027 Early Careers programme. You will be mentored by experienced colleagues, develop technical and professional skills, and gain real-world experience on major UK infrastructure projects.

Based in Scotland, you will join the UKCS Regional Scotland team and study at Glasgow Caledonian or Heriot-Watt University while supporting commercial activities from day one, aiming towards a Degree Level 6

Qualifications

• Minimum of SQA Higher at BBCC.

Responsibilities

• Support the management and control of project costs throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist with cost reporting, forecasting, valuations and financial performance monitoring.
• Help prepare and maintain commercial records, contract documentation and project cost information.
• Support subcontract procurement activities, including tendering, quotation analysis and subcontract administration.
