Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd in the New Milton area is seeking a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to support high-end refurbishment projects and learn directly from experienced surveyors while progressing into a senior commercial role on nearby sites.

This permanent opportunity offers chartership support, hands-on training and a clear progression path, with local site visits and close collaboration with the Commercial Manager and Senior Quantity Surveyor.

Qualifications

• Degree or Higher qualification in Construction or Quantity Surveyor.
• Understanding of the construction industry and a desire to build a long-term career.
• Good communicator with a driven, can-do attitude.

Lymington, Hampshire (Commutable from: Bournemouth, Christchurch, Southampton, Ringwood, Lyndhurst, Brockenhurst, New Milton)

Are you a Graduate Quantity Surveyor looking to build a long-term career with a close-knit, high-quality construction business where you can learn directly from experienced Surveyors and progress up the ranks?

This is a permanent opportunity to join a well-established, award-winning developer delivering high-end refurbishment projects directly for end clients. You will be based from their office in New Milton and support projects across local sites within around an hour.

In this role you'll work closely with the Commercial Manager and Senior Quantity Surveyor, learning the full commercial process from the ground up. Day-to-day you'll help understand project requirements, support schedules of works, communicate with the QS and Project Manager, pick up variations, measure works, and assist with ordering materials.

As a result of continued growth and an ambition to increase turnover, they are looking to add to their commercial team with someone who takes their career seriously and wants to develop into a senior role.
