Fawkes & Reece London is sourcing a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a New Milton, Hampshire based fit-out contractor. You will manage procurement, valuations and cost forecasing on multi-million projects up to £2m.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in surveying/contracts management.

Job description

We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a fit-out contractor based in New Milton, Hampshire. The business specialises in office fit-outs and as a result of some recent project wins, they're now looking to expand their team with an additional Senior Quantity Surveyor.

About the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor:

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be working on projects valued between £1m - £2m.

Key Responsibilities as Senior Quantity Surveyor:

• Manage subcontract procurement
• Manage subcontractors accounts on projects, dealing with variations
• Manage monthly valuations and liaise with the client
• Deal with cost management, including forecasting, and final accounts

Key Requirements for this Senior Quantity Surveyor position:

• Have a Degree or HNC/HND in Surveying
• Have at least 5 years' experience in surveying/contracts management
• Must have the full right to work in the UK
• Must live within commutable distance to New Milton
