Job summary

PSR Solutions is seeking a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team in the North West, with two days per week in London. Based from Runcorn, you will gain hands-on experience across housing, care, commercial and education schemes while supporting live projects across multiple UK regions.

Ideal candidates have a QS degree, strong communication and numerical skills, and a genuine interest in progressing within a main contractor environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar is required.
• Good communication and organisational skills are essential.
• Eager to learn and proactive when working on live projects.
• Willing to travel between sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support senior QS with cost management and valuations.
• Assist with procurement, subcontractors, and reporting.
• Work on housing, care, and education schemes.
• Engage in site visits and project delivery across regions.
• Contribute to tender analysis and contract administration.
• Support multiple live projects and travel as required.

Graduate Quantity Surveyor - Main Contractor (Runcorn HQ + 2 Days London)

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 + package

Location: North West with 2 days in London

A leading main contractor with a strong reputation for regeneration, refurbishment, retrofit and new build projects is looking to appoint a motivated Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team.

Based from Runcorn, you'll work across a diverse portfolio of schemes while spending two days per week in London supporting live projects on site. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or early‑career QS to gain hands‑on experience across multiple sectors and regions, working with a contractor known for quality delivery and long‑term progression.

What You'll Be Involved In

• Supporting senior QSs with cost management, valuations, procurement and commercial reporting
• Assisting with subcontractor management, tender analysis and contract administration
• Working on a mix of housing, care, commercial and education schemes
• Exposure to refurbishment, retrofit, regeneration and new build projects
• Regular site visits, including two days per week in London
• Contributing to project delivery across multiple UK regions

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar

• Ability to work across multiple sites and manage travel as required
