Job summary

M-Sport UK, based at Dovenby Hall, is recruiting a Graduate Quality Control Engineer to join our Quality Control team. You will gain hands-on experience in inspection, measurement, non-conformance investigations and continuous improvement across high-performance motorsport projects.

You will work at the interface between Engineering, Design and Quality Control, interpreting drawings, maintaining records, and helping drive reliability and performance of our competition cars.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree in Motorsport Engineering/Technology or mechanical/automotive fields.
  • Keen interest in motorsport with drive to progress in high-performance engineering.
  • Willingness to learn in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and methodical problem solving.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork across departments.
  • Ability to manage time and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with quality inspection of components and assemblies to meet drawings and tolerances.
  • Support planning and forecasting to keep projects on track and on time.
  • Learn and improve processes within the Quality Control Department.
  • Interpret technical drawings and documentation to verify components.
  • Maintain inspection records and quality documentation per standards.
  • Identify and communicate quality issues and support corrective actions.
  • Analyze inspection data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with technicians, Engineering, Design and suppliers to resolve issues.

As part of our Graduate Engineering Programme for the 2027/28 intake, we are looking to recruit an ambitious and driven Graduate Quality Control Engineer to join our Quality Control team at our Dovenby Hall headquarters.This is an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Engineer to develop their career within a high-performance motorsport environment, working at the interface between Engineering, Design and the Quality Control Department.
