Job summary

M-Sport UK, based at Dovenby Hall, offers a Graduate Engine Engineer position within the Engine team. You'll engage in build, development and testing of high-performance engines for competition cars, while supporting planning, documentation and cross-department collaboration.

Ideal candidates hold a BEng or MEng in Motorsport Engineering or related field, show motorsport passion, and are eager to learn in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Assist with build, development and testing of high-performance competition engines and components.
  • Support planning and forecasting to keep projects on track and on time.
  • Learn, develop and improve processes across the Engine Department.
  • Prepare and issue technical documentation, drawings, specs and build information.
  • Conduct quality and build checks to ensure engines meet standards.
  • Assist with tracking and lifing of engine components for reliability.
  • Analyse and report issues to support improvements in reliability and performance.
  • Support system layout and component integration across programmes.
  • Collaborate with technicians, suppliers and other departments to ensure engine functionality.

As part of our Graduate Engineering Programme for the 2027/28 intake, we are looking to recruit an ambitious and driven Graduate Engine Engineer to join our Engine team at our Dovenby Hall headquarters.This is an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Engineer to develop their career within a high-performance motorsport environment, working at the interface between Engineering, Design and the Engine Department.
